The Public Protection Department is seeking to hire an experienced attorney to serve as an Assistant Attorney General. Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Arkansas and should have a minimum of three years of post law school practice experience or the equivalent. The attorney hired for this position will provide legal representation to the State of Arkansas in matters involving utility dockets filed with the Public Service Commission, environmental and consumer protection issues affecting the State. A background in utilities or environmental law is preferred, although not mandatory.
